This year marks 25 Joey Ramone Birthday Bashes since he passed away. it’s a bittersweet celebration. but far sweeter is the affection that keeps the celebration going!! awarded by the Lymphoma Research Foundation, proclaimed one of NYC’s most beloved annual events. it’s all for Joey Ramone, and it’s all about the love.
We are excited to be sharing the stage with so many talented friends of Joey!
Uptown Rumble: Heavy Music in The Bronx at the Bronx Historical Society Museum explores the rich and little-known history of Bronx bands and musicians playing in the heavier registers of rock music including hard rock, heavy metal, thrash metal, death metal, hardcore, and more, from the 1960s through the early 2000s.
What an honor to have some of our Sic F*cks and Blondie memorabilia grace the walls along with an iconic photo of us taken by Paula Gately Tillman. Manic Panic appears in the “Roots of Heavy Music Timeline” - 1977!
The exhibit is on display until November. More details here:
